Your Instructors

Roland Heming BSc

Roland has been a freelance instructor since 2001 and has worked on behalf of the Royal Agricultural University, Hartpury college and Newlands Training for many years.

As a practicing tree surgeon he has a great hands on knowledge of the industry and understands the importance of good tuition.

Roland is also a LOLER inspector and part owner of Treefrog climbing ltd, one of the leading practitioners of recreational tree climbing.

As of January 2014 Roland has also completed his FISA instructors qualification enabling him to Refresh experienced Forestry operators.

 

 

 

Martin Brockett

Martin has worked as a tree surgeon for the last 9 years, he also works as a lead instructor for Treefrog climbing ltd.

His instructional work in the recreational climbing world has led him into his new role in forestry and arboriculture training.

Martin holds both NPTC assessors and NPTC trainer qualifications.

 

 

Jamie Whitworth

Jamie is the newest member of our team.

Jamie worked as a Forester in the Bryanstone School grounds whilst learning his trade as an Arborist.

Jamie was always a useful contact to have as Bryanston School is host to 3 of the Largest Broad leaf trees in Northern Europe, 3 London planes the tallest of which is 167ft at last measurement.

And yes we have been up them!

Jamie holds both NPTC assessors and NPTC trainer qualifications.
